There’s something magical about Salt Creek Beach in Dana Point, California—its rolling waves, golden sands, and that unmistakable ocean breeze. But this weekend, it wasn’t just the surf that brought joy to the shore—it was a day full of laughter, love, and legacy, led by two little girls with big dreams.
Valkyrie and Freyja, the young founders of Hawaiian Vikings, spent the day soaking in every moment of sunshine with their grandparents by their side. Together, they shared more than just beach towels and snacks—they shared their mission. Dressed in their favorite designs from the Hawaiian Vikings surf collection, the girls handed out sample gear to new friends they met along the way—surfers, families, and even a few lifeguards who couldn't resist the bold ocean vibes and warrior spirit stitched into every shirt.
With every “mahalo” and “thank you,” the spirit of aloha was alive and well. Kids ran by with sand-covered feet, elders smiled from under shady umbrellas, and waves crashed behind scenes of pure connection. For Valkyrie and Freyja, it wasn’t just about showing off cool clothes—it was about spreading kindness, courage, and culture. Hawaiian roots met Viking grit in every conversation, every gift, and every sun-soaked memory.
Their grandparents watched proudly, seeing how their granddaughters are not only building a brand, but building a movement—one that celebrates heritage, adventure, and family.
This wasn’t just a day at the beach. This was a page in the story of Hawaiian Vikings—one of many to come.
Live wild. Share aloha. Ride like a Viking.

At Central Park Lake in Huntington Beach, Valkyrie and Freyja shared aloha with every fisherman they met—handing out free Hawaiian Vikings shirts and making new friends along the way. Even if the fish weren’t biting, everyone walked away with a smile and a little extra sunshine in their day.

We spent an unforgettable day at Forever Wild Animal Sanctuary, where Valkyrie and Freyja proudly showcased their Hawaiian Vikings animal shirt designs alongside Uncle Joel and Aunty Chemaine. The event was filled with love, support, and a shared mission to protect wildlife. We’re so proud of Forever Wild—and so grateful they welcomed their nieces into their dream.

Valkyrie and Freyja dragged their chubby old dad (bad back, bad knees and all) up the Santiago Canyon trail for a day of family laughs and wildflower magic. Even with the grumbling, it turned out to be a beautiful adventure the Hawaiian Vikings won’t forget.
